Jordan and I drove down to Spanish Fork on Christmas Eve and enjoyed a great dinner at the Quist's. It was so sweet of them to have us over and feed us delicious food! I had to leave a little early and missed out on the Rice Pudding Game. Which from what I hear might not have been such a bad thing that I missed it. For those of you that don't know what it is, a large portion of rice pudding is made and an almond is stuck somewhere in the pudding. You then serve everyone pudding and who ever finds the almond is the winner. On this go around it was Lexi, Kirsten's daughter, who found the almond on the last bit of the pudding.
While Jordan was enjoying the dessert I was out making the annual deliveries of the Rounds' cinnamon rolls. My mom makes them every year and we deliver them to her brothers, sisters and very close friends. My brother, Jared, and I are the usual ones the make the deliveries. Most of the family includes the rolls as a part of their Christmas breakfast.
Christmas Eve we spent at my parents where we opened our PJs and went to bed. We got up early the next morning and went to church where my Grandma was singing in the choir. After that block of meeting we rested for a little bit then went to Woodland Hills to attend another church meeting. It's really cool how the same county can have such different and uplifting Christmas programs. We had to sneek out a little early and headed back down to my Grandparents to have the Liddiard Christmas. As always there was great food and we were spoiled with presents.
Next round we went back to Woodland Hills to enjoy the Thomas Christmas. Once again there was more great food!(It really is a miracle I don't weigh 1000# with all of the holiday goodness at my disposal.) The Quist family came over this time and we enjoyed our Christmas dinner. After dinner we relaxed and enjoyed the company of our family, tried to Skype with Corinne, Joe & Jackson and then opened presents.
Once everything quieted down Jordan had to head back up to Ogden since he had to work the next day. I stayed at my parents since we would be going to Heber the following morning to visit my dad's family. All in all we had a great time and can't wait to do it all again Christmas 2012!
